O of opening, orgasm, origin.
Alone on stage, Francesca sets in motion the indecipherable, unspeakable and sometimes contradictory things contained in our pelvis. The raw choreography is accompanied by poetry lines projected in real time: textual fragments collected during somatic experiments centered onto the pelvis. Her body also dialogues with a video-collage evoking collective imagination of the pelvis through anatomy, biology, nature, religion, daily life, mythology, and archeology. Choreography, text and image merge to create a landscape where human and other-than-human merge to celebrate this bodypart which seems to links us to an origin we share with all lifeforms.
